Dr. Anna Maria Salas was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1988, obtaining her D.D.S. degree. She moved to the U.S. and pursued Orthodontic training at The University of Texas-Dental Branch in Houston, Department of Orthodontics, obtaining her certificate in Orthodontics and M.S. Degree in 1996. Dr. Salas is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and an Associate Professor on the Graduate Orthodontic Program, UTHSC. Currently in full-time private practice, Dr. Salas stays up-to-date with the latest Orthodontic advancements to ensure her patients receive the most current treatments.
